For the first time in 19 years, the Spanish soccer league decided to celebrate LaLiga Promises International tournament outside of Spain. This mega-event, with the participation of teams from 17 countries across Europe, Asia, the U.S. and Latin America played for 3 days at the Ransom Everglades School on a modified football field. I was responsible for negotiating the implementation of the rules, regulations and policies required by LaLiga with Ransom’s directors. In addition, I was in charge of the needs of each team, including security, transportation, and meals, , as well the announcement and promotion of the tournament through a media and public relations campaign. I was also responsible for the production of all on-campus branding signage, promotional materials and giveaways, as well as the award ceremony. As a result, the tournament was broadcast to more than 50 cities with more than 1,500 spectators each day.
Shortly after, LaLiga also commissioned my company to produce a watch party and broadcast El ClásicoChampionship to hundreds of soccer fans. A family experience event attracted 2,500+ fans to Margaret Pace Park to enjoy live music and food, and to watch the game. Leaders from the City of Miami joined the event to welcome the public. We also created a media and public relations campaign to announce the event. Thanks to the positive response to this phenomenal event, a second watch party for El Clásico Championship was produced, with the same level of success.
